Follow the green arrows to take a slightly longer route than the Ladies Loop, the Arboretum Loops takes you through the woodlands and over the bridge and along the edge of the Upper lake.
A-B. Exit the car park and turn right till you reach a barrier and veer left.
B-C. Follow the forestry track for 200m to reach a 3-way junction where you turn right and continue to follow the green arrows along the forestry track.
C-D. After approximately 400m you cross Middle Bridge which takes you to the other side of the lake. Immediately after crossing the bridge you continue straight along the edge of Upper Lake. At the end of the lake watch for a marker post on the right which directs you onto a woodland track and ascend to reach a forestry track.
D-A. Stay on the forestry track for 200m before turning right onto a woodland path which meanders its way downhill and turn left. After 100m you reach a T-junction Turn right and travel to the barrier where you turn left and it’s only 100m back to the car park.
