Follow the yellow arrows to take a nice walk along forestry tracks and paths that take you through the Castlecomer Demesne along the lower lake shore and through the woodlands.
A-B. Exit the car park and turn right – following the yellow arrow and walk for 100m to reach a barrier – veer left here.
B-C. Follow the forestry track for 200m to reach a 3-way junction where you turn right and continue following the yellow arrows onto a narrow woodland path.
C-D. After approximately 400m, Turn right at a T-junction and cross Middle Bridge which takes you to the other side of the lake. Immediately after crossing the bridge turn right onto a forestry track along the edge of Lower Lake.
D-A. Stay on the forestry track for 400m to reach a T-junction and turn right and walk on to the metal barrier – turn left and it’s only 100m back to the car park.
