Meet Damian, he is our Mountain Bike instructor and will help you learn the skills to progress to more challenging courses.
We are delighted to introduce Beginners Mountain Biking to the Discovery Park, the course is specially designed to give participants the skills to advance to more challenging courses. The activity is open to people with a minimum height of 1.3 m. The cost is €15 per person and the rate involves bike hire, helmet and gloves for 1 hour. Damian gives a short introductory lesson on the main path covering bike handling, safety, positioning on the bike and the mechanics of operating the bike (gears, brakes, saddle height etc.). Then, you are introduced to the woodland biking trail which is a skills trail with a series of inclines/declines, cornering, bumps etc.
