Junior Astronaut Training Camp
👩‍🚀 For Junior Infants – 2nd Class
Students will enjoy a fun-filled 1.5 hour workshop featuring the Woodland Adventure Course, Bouncy Nets, and exciting Space Experiments. The perfect way to fuel imagination and adventure!

Space Cadet Training School
🛰 For 3rd – 4th Class
Cadets will take on astronaut challenges by scaling the climbing wall and carrying out engaging space experiments. A mix of physical fun and scientific discovery!

Mission Astronaut
🚀 For 5th – 6th Class
Students face the ultimate astronaut challenge with the climbing wall, team training activities, and space experiments. This 1.5 hour workshop focuses on problem-solving, teamwork, and resilience — skills every future explorer needs.

Blast Off Into Adventure at Castlecomer Discovery Park Space Week

This October, young explorers are invited to Castlecomer Discovery Park for a series of exciting space-themed workshops designed to inspire curiosity, confidence, and teamwork. With activities tailored for different age groups, every child will get the chance to train like a real astronaut while enjoying the park’s unique adventure facilities.

From crafts and carnival games to bubbling potions and magical adventures, there’s something for every little ghost, goblin, and wizard-in-training!

👻 Little Spooksters (Ages 2–5)

A magical workshop designed just for our tiniest ghosts and goblins!
Children ages 2–5 can enjoy spooky-themed crafts, gentle Halloween games, and festive activities in a safe, playful environment. With plenty of laughter, imagination, and hands-on fun, this workshop is the perfect way for first-time witches and wizards to sparkle this spooky season.

🎪 Boo Bash Carnival (Ages 5–10)

Step right up to the spookiest carnival of the season!
Kids will dive into thrilling games, creative crafts, and festive challenges, from pumpkin tosses and ghostly ring toss to mask-making and mysterious prizes. This carnival-style workshop is bursting with excitement and laughter—perfect for young thrill-seekers ready for a fang-tastic Halloween adventure!

🧪 Little Explorers: Mystic Brews & Bubbles (Ages 2–5)

Calling all tiny adventurers! This magical sensory workshop invites little ones to explore colors, scents, and textures through enchanting “mystic brews” and playful bubbles. Designed for curious young minds, it’s a safe and delightful way to introduce science and creativity through hands-on experiments.

For our brave young alchemists, this thrilling workshop combines magic and science in a bubbling adventure. Kids will:

🌸 Shine Korea; Kpop and Culture Fun

This workshop is designed especially for kids, blending the excitement of K-pop with the richness of Korean folklore. This interactive workshop introduces children to the colourful world of Korean traditions through arts, crafts, and engaging group activities.

Participants explored Korean culture through a variety of creative stations. Participants will make traditional fans or, masks inspired by Korean folklore, learn the basics of Hangul (the Korean alphabet) through calligraphy art, and make decorative bookmarks. The workshop also featured a K-pop booth where children become their own Idols and a DIY lightstick station, allowing participants to personalize their own “fan gear” while celebrating the vibrant aesthetics of Korean pop culture.

Halloween Midterm Camp at Castlecomer Discovery Park

This Halloween midterm, Castlecomer Discovery Park is the place to be! Join us for three thrilling days packed with adventure, games, and spooky fun in the great outdoors.
