March is bursting into life at Castlecomer Discovery Park,

and we’re ready to welcome families, friends and adventurers of all ages back to the great outdoors. As the days grow brighter, so too does our calendar — with activities, workshops and camps designed to spark curiosity, confidence and connection.

Here’s everything you need to know about what’s happening this March and into the Easter holidays.

Skywalk Open – From 11:30am

Our much-loved Skywalk is open from 11:30am every Saturday — inviting thrill-seekers to climb, balance and soar through the treetops once again. Whether you’re conquering it for the first time or returning to beat your personal best, it’s the perfect way to embrace the season with a sense of adventure.

Saturday Club

7th March – 11th April

Our Saturday Club is starting for six exciting weeks of outdoor fun, learning and exploration in a supportive, inclusive environment.

• 5–8 years | 11am – 12:30pm

• 9–12 years | 1:30pm – 3pm

• €90 per person for 6 weeks

• €17.50 per person per week

From nature-based learning to confidence-building challenges, Saturday Club is designed to nurture teamwork, resilience and a lifelong love of the outdoors. Spaces are limited and always fill quickly — early booking is recommended.

All Activities Reopen on Weekends

From March 14th | From 11am

From 14th March, all of our activities officially reopen on weekends from 11am. It’s the perfect opportunity to plan a family day out, celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy fresh air and adventure in the heart of Kilkenny.

There’s something for every ability and energy level — making it easy for everyone to get involved.

St. Patrick’s Workshop

14th March

3-5 years | 11am – 12.30 pm | €10pp

5-8 years | 1.30 – 3pm| €10pp

Celebrate St. Patrick’s weekend with a creative workshop designed to inspire imagination and seasonal fun. Expect hands-on activities, colour and plenty of festive spirit as we mark the occasion together in a welcoming and inclusive space.

Easter at Castlecomer Discovery Park is all about adventure, discovery and making memories.

Easter Camp

31st March – 3rd April

• 5–8 years | 10am – 2pm | €80 per person

7th April – 10th April

• 9-12 years | 10am – 3pm | €90 per person

A four-day camp packed with outdoor games, nature exploration and engaging activities designed to keep young adventurers active and inspired during the school holidays.
