Dust off the January Blues, why not try orienteering?
Waterford Orienteering Club and Dublin University Orienteers invite you to join them for the 1st league events of 2020. Leinster meets Munster in the South East. Brown to Yellow courses for all levels of ability and fitness.
Sunday 12th January 2020 at 11.00 (till 13.00) at Castlecomer Discovery Park
It would a perfect opportunity for beginners and suitable for operation transformation/ get Ireland walking participants as well as more experienced Orienteers. There will be a full range of courses suitable for every fitness level and ability!
We have three permanent orienteering trails are set up in the woodland to complement the range of recreational activities here at the park. These courses vary in the distance; 1.6km Short, 2.4 km Medium and 3km Long. Each course has a number of codes secured to wooden posts throughout the 80 acres of woodland.
Park in the main car park of the Discovery Park, Registration and download close to interpretative centre and cafe. Toilets are adjacent.
